"From Surviving To Thriving": Meet our new neighbor! Reverend Nhien Vuong Dougherty is the newest member of the ministerial team at Unity Temple on the Plaza. A 1998 Stanford Law School graduate, Nhien practiced antitrust and securities litigation as well as mediation in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Missouri in 2012 to pursue her call to ministry. Nhien received her Masters of Divinity from Unity Institute & Seminary in June 2015 and has been serving on the ministerial team at Unity Temple since January 2015. Friday morning, January 27th, Nhien will be sharing with our Rotary Club about her grace-filled journey from surviving the Vietnam War and fleeing with her family to the United States as a political refugee back in 1975 to now thriving in America, thanks in great part to the amazing people and teachings that supported her learning and growth along the way.
