TRF Centennial Campaign Surpasses $3.3 Million

In celebration of The Rotary Foundation’s 100th anniversary this year, District 6040 Rotarians have made gifts and commitments of more than $3.3 million in the District’s Centennial Legacy Campaign, far surpassing the $2.65 million goal set last fall.
Sunday night, 140 contributing Rotarians and their guests celebrated the end of the campaign at The National Golf Club in Parkville.  Rotary International President John Germ was the featured speaker, praising District Rotarians for the legacy they have created.

The campaign raised $3,327,535.78.  The Plaza Rotary Club led the way with more than 20 individual commitments and gifts of $648,630. Plazan Larry Lunsford was the District Committee Chair for the campaign, and Plazans Roger Samuel, Cassy Venters and Jerry Venters served on the committee.  Stay tuned at Friday’s meeting for more details, and thank you Plaza Rotarians!!
