This Week:  District Governor Cassy Venters, "How Can Rotary Clubs Remain Relevant?"

Saving the best until last, District Governor Cassy Venters will make her next-to-last official club visit to the 56 Rotary clubs in District 6040 when she speaks to her home club, the Plaza Rotary Club, this Friday, November 21.  Starting with her first official visit on July 1 to the Independence Rotary Club, Cassy has discussed with Rotarians throughout the District these last four months how our Rotary clubs can remain relevant in a time of significant challenges for Rotary clubs and similar service and nonprofit organizations. Using Kodak and Legos as examples, and capitalizing on the research of author Michael McQueen, Cassy will look at what it takes for businesses and Rotary to thrive and remain relevant: They must adapt to technological, marketplace, and demographic changes, or they will be left behind.  She will also tell the "inside story" on how she became a Rotarian in a bar.  Don't miss it!
