Welcome, Ann Butenas
Author Ann Butenas will speak on her book, “Koraspondence: Living Life to the Letter.”

It is a book of stories based on the life of Kora Marie Lindenmeyer, born Feb. 22, 1905, her grandmother. Kora, a native of Dorrance, Kansas, lived well over 100 years. Photo at right shows Kora with Ann.

Bring Wine!
No, not for breakfast! We are building a wine basket as a raffle prize at the District 6040 Foundation Dinner, Feb.27. We are looking for several nice bottles to make a stellar package for the event. If you can bring a bottle to the club meeting, we can include it in the basket. Thank you!

Congratulations!
Gary Smith is the lucky winner of the raffle for a night at the Southmoreland Bed & Breakfast. Our Valentine’s Day-themed raffle raised $260.

The Shoes! The Shoes!
Our Shoes for Orphan Souls drive is now in full swing, with all three teams now actively buying and shopping for shoes.

Remember, if you can’t shop on your own, bring a donation — your contribution can help your team “buy” the surplus shoes that our club shoppers already have.

Bring cash or checks made out to KC Plaza Rotary Foundation. (That's important -- checks made to the foundation are charitable contributions, eligible for tax exemption.)

C'mon, teams, let's get going! At this point last year, we had more than 1,300 pair already.
