Happy Thanksgiving!

Reminder: no meeting this week.  Next meeting: Friday, December 4th.

We weren't kidding: it is a Happy Thanksgiving!!

President Jane received the news this week that St. Luke’s Hospital has committed to be our $10,000 Games for Good title sponsor again.  This early commitment is a great endorsement of the Games and will no doubt help convince other potential sponsors to step forward.  Congratulations to all involved.

Program follow-up

At last week’s meeting, Greg Housel, with the FDIC, spoke with us about an organization he’s involved with called the Alliance for Economic Inclusion that is working to give lower and middle-income families the knowledge and skills to improve their lives financially.

We did not have time at the meeting for very many questions so Greg forwarded some additional material about his organization, including how businesses and individuals can volunteer to help in this important work.  If you’d like to find out more, visit the Plaza Rotary Website, here, and scroll down the left side of the page to Download Files.
