Rotary Foundation Dinner
The Plaza Rotary Club, as is our tradition, is a Global Sponsor for this year’s district Foundation dinner coming up on October 28th at Arrowhead Stadium.  Also, as is our tradition, we are asking club members to pay their own way so that all $5000 of our sponsorship can go directly to the foundation.  If you would like to attend…instructions below..or contact Club Foundation Chair Roger Samuel at roger_samuel@ajg.com.

RECRUITING NEW MEMBERS
In just over a year, a Rotary Club in Minnesota brought in 31 new members, 11 of them women and eight of them under 40 years old.  How did they do it?  This week and in following weeks, we will present the club’s 10 Tips for recruiting new members.

Tip #4
Create a letter that lists all the great things about your club. List your star members, the advantages of where your club meets, how many members it has, etc.  Make sure to tailor the email/letter to the wants of any potential new member.
