Thanks to your collective generosity, there were three whisk(e)y baskets on the silent auction table at the District 6040 Rotary Foundation Dinner.  Here's a description of what was auctioned off:

1.  Whiskey basket donated by the Plaza Rotary Club's whisky club.  Value $125.
An assortment of some of the world's highest rated Kentucky bourbons, including a bottle of the VERY hard-to-find Blanton's Single Barrel.

2.  Whiskey basket donated by the Plaza Rotary Club's whisky club.  Value $125.
An assortment of bourbons from some of America's most popular craft distilleries--one each from here in Kansas City, Iowa and Utah.  Just because they're not from Kentucky doesn't mean they're not delicious!

3.  Whisky basket donated by the Plaza Rotary Club's whisky club.  Value $225.
We can't call this a scotch whisky basket because one of the offerings is the highly sought-after Nikka from the Barrel from Japan.  If you like smoky, peaty scotch whisky, you'll love the Ardbeg An Oa!
