2018 KC Games for Good By the Numbers!
6 – The date in October you don’t want to be anywhere but at the KC Games for Good!

110-135 – The average decibel level of a Metallica concert and what we expect from our resident DJ, Emcee, and snappy dresser, Rich Linden.
1 – The minimum number of bar owners every Rotary club needs. Thank you to Scott Kalwei and Ruins Pub for taking over beverage sales this year!
2 Food choices. Pickleman’s Deli is back along with Sancho Streetside, a Latin cuisine food truck.
5 – The number of wacky games Eric and Rich have brewed up for us.
100 – The number of ducks you may see flying through the air (just wait…).
5:30pm – The time we’d like Friday evening volunteers to show up on site.
9am – When we’d love to see all of our Saturday morning volunteers arrive.
11am – When our exhibitors should start rolling in on Saturday
2,000lbs – A ton…equal to the amount of fun everyone will have at the 2018 KC Games for Good!
2 – The number of fingers each of you needs to cross to ensure we have beautiful weather!

Volunteer Duty at the Bloch Cancer Survivors Park
Tentative Date - Saturday Oct 20
Fall clean up is tentatively scheduled. We'll have a sign-up sheet at the meeting Friday, October 5 to gauge interest. Reach out to Paul Temme at if you missed the sign up sheet but would like to help.
New Member-Steven Rotkoff
Steven Rotkoff has completed his application for membership and been voted on by the board.
Steven is a Partner / business consultant with Red Team Thinking.  He and his wife, Libby, have been members of the Kansas City community continuously since 2005 and live in Lansing.  They are both active in the Leavenworth community and he was introduced to the Plaza Club by Scott Weaver. 
District 6040 Foundation Dinner 2018
The District Foundation dinner is fast approaching, and our club is once again going to be a Global Sponsor.  We're looking to fill two tables of 10 each.  Email Roger Samuel if you're interested. A few details on this year's event:
