Dear Plaza Rotarians, I forgot to include some more exciting news in this week’s newsletter: The Plaza Rotary Board approved the membership application of Alli Vetter, SHRM-CP.

 

Alli is the director of human resources for the Hampton Inn & Suites on the Country Club Plaza. She is responsible for the smooth and profitable operation of all of the hotel’s functions. She supervises and provides consultation to management on staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, budget and labor relations.

 

She was born in Wichita, Kan., and has lived in Kansas City, Mo. for seven years. She received her MBA and MAHR degrees from Ottawa University and her B.S. in Hospitality Management from Kansas State University.

Alli volunteers for the KC Pet Project, Operation Breakthrough, Sheffield Place and Harvester’s. She enjoys tennis, antiquing, reading, and attending KC-area events and concerts.

 

She is off to a great Rotary start as she donated a $50 gift certificate for a one weekend-night stay at the Hampton Inn for our Reverse Raffle!
