The Plaza Rotary Club donated $3,261 to the PAL KCK which is being used in together with some $1,500 from the KS Park Commission to install an Archery range in the PAL facility. We received a thank you from the organization, and an update on the status as follows:
- 80% of the equipment is in hand, with the balance anticipated in the next week or so
- New lighting and floor repairs have been completed in anticipation of the installation of the new equipment.
- February 1 is the "target" date for complete installation
- Plaza Rotary Club members will be invited to view the facility and shoot a few arrows in the next weeks.
The program continues to grow at a rapid pace with 800 children now enrolled. They eagerly await the launch of the new archery program that is especially welcome and as another indoor program to pursue during the winter.
